These books were a part of Pushkin's personal library.

Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin

The round window looking at the fountain in the lower level is just to the right of this photo.

This window was in the lower level above a fountain.
Alexander Pushkin was a Russian author of the Romantic Era, considered by some to be the greatest Russian poet and the founder of Modern Russian Literature.  The State A.S.Pushkin museum is the first museum dedicated to the life and creative work of the Russian Poet Pushkin.  It was founded in 1957 on the grounds of a former mansion owned by the Kruschev-Selezniov Family.  The April meeting of the International Women's Club of Moscow was held here with tours in English, French and Russian.  I opted for the English version :)  I have a book of Pushkin's poems and short stories waiting on my Kindle as I finish Anna Karenina.
