Russian parents buy ice cream for their children on May 1 to celebrate the beginning of Summer. That was certainly one custom I could adopt! One of the ways I can purchase ice cream here is in plastic tubes, I can also purchase it in tubs. I have not seen it in cardboard boxes like we find in the USA.
