After church on Sunday, March 2nd we headed to one of the pedestrian streets to enjoy some Maslenitsa customs. The children (and R!) played some games, we watched some blini being made and we ate some blini with strawberries, C and I, chocolate, H and S, and with caviar, M and R. Oh, and we ordered our blini with no help this year! Last year a Russian with a Canadian boyfriend helped us order the blini with heart shaped Berries (strawberries).
