25 cocktail sized napkins cost about $2.50 USD at my local grocery store. They are cheaper at Metro and IKEA. Years ago in an effort to be a better steward of our resources, monetary and renewable, I found cloth napkins at several thrift stores near our home in MN. I bought them. I remember the cashier asking what I was going to use them for, she seemed flummoxed when I answered napkins. On our very first trip to IKEA I bought a bunch of flour sack dish cloths. I intended to cut them into rectangles and sew them up and use them as napkins. Almost a year later I finally got the task accomplished!
